One last day on the Supreme Court

Yesterday was Judge Antonin Scalia’s last day on the Supreme Court.  His casket laid in repose, of the Court’s Grand Hall as mourners passed the flag-draped coffin including former clerks, fellow Justices, and President Barack Obama.
His funeral has now ended and many have questioned the decision of President Obama to not attend the funeral of a 30 year sitting Supreme Court Justice.   In a recent @Scotus Poll, 80% said The President should pay his respects by attending Antonin Scalia’s funeral. With the President facing a tough battle to nominate a new Justice in the coming weeks many feel attending Scalia’s funeral could have helped start the upcoming nomination process off on the right foot. Screen Shot 2016-02-20 at 1.21.25 PM
