A monument outside the City Hall of Albuquerque, New Mexico stands a monument that could bring some attention to the Supreme Court.  The monument is that of the Ten Commandments and a lower court has ruled in favor of its removal.  The City of Albuquerque has asked Scotus to hear an appeal of the earlier ruling.
There are many rulings in favor those religious monuments like that outside Albuquerque’s Court House.  Lower court rulings like this usually differ in standards and don’t always look at past Supreme Court decisions for guidance.  We’ll soon find out if Scotus takes the case and if the Justices command the monument be removed.
